Mark Thompson - Agent & Owner
Mark Thompson is the owner of Mark Thompson Insurance Agency and opened the agency in High Point in 1999 prior to becoming an insurance agent Mark was maintenance technician for Phillip Morris USA in Cabarrus County for 11 years. He Graduated college in college in 1981. Mark married his wonderful wife Angie in 2015 and has a great step son Cody Newman.
Mark became a licensed and property and casualty agent while being employed by Phillip Morris. Mark obtained his insurance license by self-studies and working long hours at Phillip Morris and was ready for a change in career. His friend and co-worker Erick Hendrickson that an insurance agency in Monroe NC encouraged Mark to get into the insurance business, so after looking for six months for a location he found one in High Point N.C which was in need of an agent that not only provided a sound product, but backed by outstanding customer service.
Due to the ever changing market place for Insurance, Mark Thompson Insurance focuses on providing a product that fits the customer’s current needs and budget. Mark has instilled his philosophies and goals throughout the organization which has attributed to the success to the agency.
